Description
Registrations from 1970 supply us with
the following information:
Settlement site, situated at farm nr. 96/ 1, 12,
about 12 m East of the farm houses close to two
house sites.
Finds received from Reidar Edvardsen and
Tegnander Hansen:
Sherds of soapstone, spindle of soapstone and a
hone of slate. (Museumnumber Ts. 70299 - 0)
A pearl was received earlier, probably from a burial mound. A farm mound is also localised at this site. Other finds were received in 1945:
Finds of about 20 wooden posts in a bog (Løiphammermyra). A sketch has been drawn to show how the posts were situated, covering a length of 2, 5 m.
