Description
The cultural heritage remains in the
area are today invisible, but this is the location
where a necklace of 36 continental beads was found
during the first half of the 20th century. Today
the beads are exhibited at the Viking-museum. The
beads are of different origin, the largest is
described as a "millefiori-bead" (thousands of
flowers). Other types are mosaic-beads and
different glass-beads all typical of the 8th
century.
