Description A common trait is that the crosses are raised at old grave places. This tells us that they were made prior to the establishment of the Christian church (not organised or established yet). For us today, the crosses are strongly visible in the landscape, still a proof of the new belief and the new ideology that arrived in the end of the first millennium. Excavation
