Description
Registration from 1978 supply us with
the following information:
Remains of an old bridge were found during work at Skjellstraumen near farm nr. 91/ 19. About 59m NE of the farm house. The site contains more than 3 pavings, that are done in "Lafte" technique.
Filled with stone and a size of 3x3 m and unknown height, the bridge has probably been visible from far distances.
Iron nails on the remains of the wooden pillars. The distance between each paving slab has probably been about 4 m.
One pillar was dated to the transition period between Iron Age/Medieval Times
