Description
Registrations from 1978 supply us with
the following information:
Pit, 1 m in dm and 0,5 m deep, situated c. 600 m SSW from the area of Handberg in outlying fields.
It is questioned whether this site could be part of an iron production site. Several pits are localised by the mountain side (interpreted as Sámi housesites).
New registrations by Geir Are Johansen redefine the sites from Sámi house sites to charcoal pits.
