Description
The area of the chapel site at Kilbride has yielded in recent years the remains of two interesting carved crosses. One was discovered in 1961, 250 m south of the ruined late medieval chapel. It bears a low relief carving of an ornamented cross of 10th or 11th century date. It now stands in the farmhouse garden.

The other smaller fragment, now in the care of Kilmartin House Museum, was discovered in 2001 in farm buidings. It is only a small piece of a larger stone, but from its style of carving it appears to have been made in the ninth century.

Stone crosses are found elesewhere in the area.
