Teenager's Poems 1996 to 2003
As these poems were written between 1996 and 2003 by teenagers who are now adults, the surnames have been left off. If you want to reclaim a poem and have your name attached please contact teenmag@irelandcalls.com. We can add your name or remove the poem. Better still, give us a paragraph about yourself to add to your poem.

Where do you Find by Miguel
Where do you find gold but only in the hearts of the innocent Where do you find darkness but only in the hearts of the wicked Break the fundamentals of creation down to pieces so I may understand where destiny stands Even the pyramids were built uopn the sands, but they still stand Who can form the rain and feed the people with dew like manna Only by word of mouth I can trust what you have given of wealth Where do you find rest, but only with being comfortable with yourself Where do you find completion, but only with help This time of confinement dwindles my hope kept under my welts but time will heal the stabs of failure, and replace it with a new place for you to get better So must my tears be the bandages of the soul To mend back the cuts of this world because the past knows too much about the rage Over the years we have concealed this rage written between the lines of lies, on life's page So where do I find peace, but only with relaxation between this skull cage So where would I find life, but only in the eyes of where we came Where do you find Where do you find understanding, but only in the experiences of life Where do you find Where do you find the obstacles, but only under the light And where do you find elevation, it comes only when you can take flight And what does the complete picture look like, when you are far up in the sky These are the things and questions I ask, so .......... Where do you Find
