Teenager's Poems 1996 to 2003
As these poems were written between 1996 and 2003 by teenagers who are now adults, the surnames have been left off. If you want to reclaim a poem and have your name attached please contact teenmag@irelandcalls.com. We can add your name or remove the poem. Better still, give us a paragraph about yourself to add to your poem.

Time by Donald
Why do we inhale toxic fumes of the earth's leafs and take in all of its wickedness Why do we corrupt our minds with insensible drugs Why do we drink from the dreadful and baneful pool of hell Is it a devil perched upon our shoulder Is it our conscience deceiving us Could it possibly be a mysterious spell If acknowledged to what is right from wrong then why insist choosing wrong What makes us winnow these mindless paths we take Is there a God that culls our destiny I guess time will only tell
