Hiding Feelings by Shane

I opened up the box
late last night
I couldn't believe it
the lid was on tight
Feelings released from
deep down inside
Feelings I worked so
hard to hide
My heart pounded fast
These feelings still last
Enduring the cruel test of time.

In the darkness these
feelings grew
Almost in to something new
Springing up from inside
Growing like A mighty tree

I found another thing was true
I could not live without you
Another thing was always a must
You I always gave my trust
My love for you was always strong
And I knew that love was never wrong

Testing as the mountains do
So my feelings last for you
I hope these feelings never end
And pray to always call you friend
