Teenager's Poems 1996 to 2003
As these poems were written between 1996 and 2003 by teenagers who are now adults, the surnames have been left off. If you want to reclaim a poem and have your name attached please contact teenmag@irelandcalls.com. We can add your name or remove the poem. Better still, give us a paragraph about yourself to add to your poem.

At The End Of The Day by Laura
It is evening a quiet time in the day The sky is a dusty pink and its misting over the bay The hills form the perfect backdrop against the sea It is so beautiful there is no other place I would rather be.
I lean on the fence and watch the lambs at play And the farmer in the field baling his hay Cows flick their tails and chomp the green grass While the elderly on the porch reminisce on times gone passed.
A field mouse scurries to his hole in the ground Darkness descends and there isn't a sound On the sea the moon reflects its tremendous light As this beautiful evening falls gradually into night.
