Teenager's Poems 1996 to 2003
As these poems were written between 1996 and 2003 by teenagers who are now adults, the surnames have been left off. If you want to reclaim a poem and have your name attached please contact teenmag@irelandcalls.com. We can add your name or remove the poem. Better still, give us a paragraph about yourself to add to your poem.

As I sit here Trying to figure you out The rain starts to pour. It brings the long awaited tear Seemingly from a huge water spout That has appeared from all the times you hurt me before. The rain glitters and gleams Along with my tears As they drip drop onto my cheeks. It all seems That you've brought all my fears Back to a place that they always seek. I was always afraid That every guy would ravage my heart I realize now you've ripped me open with your knife. And so once again you have made My foreboding preminitions a part Of my daily life. Thanks a lot For giving me even more realization That every guy will always hurt me in some way. Thanks a lot For giving me another sensation That every guy will always give me as the rain helps tear them away.
