Teenager's Poems 1996 to 2003
As these poems were written between 1996 and 2003 by teenagers who are now adults, the surnames have been left off. If you want to reclaim a poem and have your name attached please contact teenmag@irelandcalls.com. We can add your name or remove the poem. Better still, give us a paragraph about yourself to add to your poem.

You & Me by Melissa
Looking through the book of you & me, I find myself on a page of history Just a shadow of our first kiss & this the story of us, goes something like this Babe u told me my love was no good & that I didn't treat u right, didn't treat u how I should But that was me...So in love, confused, so rare 2 dare So afraid of ever being there I knew this was the end That we were no longer anything more than "just friends" I waited so long 4 our walls 2 crack & still I hope to one day have u back So, please just give me half a chance I'll give u good times & romance I promise this time 2 treat u right & let's this time try not 2 fight Cause baby I 'm in love with u, you are my superstar The only one I love by far If only u knew wut I feel 4 u If only u lived 4 me the way I live 4 u I'd be in heaven, finally my dreams would come true But wut do I get bc I just seem 2 lose You know I regret the way I treated u So, here's a little advice that everyone should know Up 2 & including Juliet n her Romeo True love has no hiding place It's not just something u throw in2 space It's always there inside of u & it shows in everything u do Now, as I close this book of u & me, Somethings bothering me & I just can't let it be I start to think about fairy tales & their happy endings But in this book I kneo I won't see one, there ain't no use pretending!!!
