Teenager's Poems 1996 to 2003
As these poems were written between 1996 and 2003 by teenagers who are now adults, the surnames have been left off. If you want to reclaim a poem and have your name attached please contact teenmag@irelandcalls.com. We can add your name or remove the poem. Better still, give us a paragraph about yourself to add to your poem.

Missing You by Heidi
When peace cannot be found And sleep won't visit me at night I think of all the times we shared Of holding each other tight With a restless mind I walk the floor and call your name But a deafening silence is my response The days we spent together And the endless nights on the phone Are now replaced by lonely times Unhappy and alone Thoughts of you constantly fill my mind Your face is all I see I wonder who you might be clinging to tonight Instead of me Though letters can carry hope and strength And bring ecstastic smiles I can't help noticing the distance Is worlds apart the longest miles The wealth of the memories you left me Reminds me how very far apart we are Oh, how I would give the world just to be where you are
