Croke Park, Dublin
The historical home and principal stadium of the Gaelic Athletic Association, Croke Park has a capacity for 82,300 people and is the third largest stadium in Europe. Only a 15 minute walk from O'Connell St, since 1884 Croke Park has been used to host Gaelic games, most popularly the annual All-Ireland Senior Football and Senior Hurling Championships. Croke Park was the venue for the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2003 Special Olympics.
