Cork, County Cork

county corkCork is the second largest city in the Republic of Ireland and the island of Ireland's third most populous city after Dublin and Belfast. The town of Cork was destroyed and rebuilt many times, this is what gives its cultural and historical richness.

In the south of Ireland, Cork is a magnificent location with many tourist attractions and places of interest. This town has several attractions of interest such as St Ann's Church, situated on the hill of Shandon and dating from 1722, it offers a wonderful panorama on the city of Cork or the Cork Museum which recalls the tumultuous history of the city. It is set up in an old brewery since 1909. You can also discover the Cork City Goal. You must not miss this old prison now established as a museum (with commentary during your visit in various languages) which recalls the life in prison, as if you were there.
