Teenager's Poems 1996 to 2003
As these poems were written between 1996 and 2003 by teenagers who are now adults, the surnames have been left off. If you want to reclaim a poem and have your name attached please contact teenmag@irelandcalls.com. We can add your name or remove the poem. Better still, give us a paragraph about yourself to add to your poem.

How Do I Tell You by Amanda
What I want to say How do I tell you Never go away How do I tell you I am so afraid You'll love me You'll leave me You'll hurt me I'll cry I'll die I'll sigh I am shy But you don't know it I am quiet But you don't see My lips slowly moving To you I am calling My whisper is loud My shout is silent My laugh a wimper My cry a sob I'm begging and pleading I'm calling to you I want you I need you But you turn away I am trying to tell you I want you to stay But silently I guess These words are in vain So instead of your kisses Tears cover my face They are constently falling Comming steady like rain But these tears are not seen Except once a while Cause they are hidden Covered by denile And consealed with a smile
