Crehan's Musical Instruments

With a love of music and the necessity of providing 10 children with instruments, Vincent Crehan began trading violins in the 1970s.

Since 1997 the business has been based in Drumcondra, Dublin 9 and is currently run by Vincent's son, Kieran who studied violin making at the Royal College of Furniture in London. Kieran is helped by his sister Fionnuala and three other luthiers: Jose Gandara from Sevilla, Spain; Cosmin Crisan from Reghin, Romania and Martin Kubis from Cadca, Slovakia.

Crehan's supplies violins, violas, cellos and double basses across the globe. They also stock cases, strings, bows and accessories and carry out repairs, rehair bows and value instruments.
