Ballycotton, County Cork
Ballycotton is a village in County Cork, situated about 40km east of Cork city and one hour drive from Cork Airport. In this Atlantic coastline village, the water is free from pollution and the village continues to win awards in the Tidy Town Competition. There is a very relaxed atmosphere and visitors are always made to feel welcome.
The south of Ireland has many beautiful tourist attractions and sites of interest for tourists visiting Ballycotton. Bird-watching sites, deep sea angling, golf and walks along the sea have been enjoyed by visitors who stay in Ballycotton. Each year in Ballycotton there are major events like the 8 Degrees West Arts Festival. This is an arts festival, on the first weekend of June, which includes arts workshops and performances by nationally acclaimed performers.
